They lived in buds and fruit for food, they always upside down hanging on the tree branches for sleeping when they are full, that’s why the tree is called the home for sloths.Human destruction of South America forest could take the end for sloths, so All 6 species are listed in IUCN 2012 Red List of Endangered Species VER 3.1 — Critically Endangered (CR).
