1. UK Toys (Safety) Regulation Update
On September 2, 2022, the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) published Bulletin 0063/22, updating the list of specified standards for the UK Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 2011 No. 1881). This proposal was implemented on September 1, 2022. The update involves six toy standards, EN 71-2, EN 71-3, EN 71-4, EN 71-7, EN 71-12 and EN 71-13.
2. Update of the national standard of Chinese toys

4.Mexican electronic toy standard update and NOM certification

5. Hong Kong, China approved to update the safety standards of toys and children's products
On February 18, 2022, the Government of Hong Kong, China published the "Toys and Children's Products Safety Ordinance 2022 (Amendment of Schedules 1 and 2) Notice" ("Notice") in the Gazette to update the Toys and Children's Products Safety Ordinance ( Safety standards for toys under the Ordinance) (Cap. 424) and the six categories of children's products listed in Schedule 2 (Schedule 2 products). The six categories of children's products are "baby walkers", "bottle nipples", "home bunk beds", "children's high chairs and home multipurpose high chairs", "children's paints" and "children's seat belts". The Announcement will take effect on September 1, 2022.
